It was only about 40 feet, but hey - SHE DROVE MY NEW C6 Z06 ! ! ! !
We got there at 7:30 AM last Tuesday and followed our car through from fluid fill to first start. We didn't get done until about 11:00. Several regular tours came and went as we hung around, asked questions, and watched a bunch of other Z06's (and regular coupes and verts) get built. We saw every stage of assembly from bare single frame rails to completed cars getting water-tested. It was quite an experience. No cameras are allowed in the plant. Here's some photo's that Kevin took for us of our car:

Now we just wait for Museum Delivery in another 1-3 weeks.
Your wife looks very happy with such a nice smile from ear to ear, yet not a single pic with you smiling If I was you I'd be grinning big time with pride & joy.

Anyway, congrats!

Congrats!! to you and your wife..Kevin and his crew up there treat people first class..as do Gary and the folks with the museum delivery..I have had a number of people that got to watch thier car being built..One guy was from San Diego and flew in just to see his car born and then came back a few weeks later for his museum delivery..he actually got to bolt on a couple of parts himself.. ...the museum delivery is a very positive experience and I recomend it highly to my customers..after all you don't buy a new Corvette every day...so you might as well make it a very sepecial occasion..

A new Z06 can still be attained. Contact SLT200 above and he should be able to get your parents one.

Randy - very cool pics of the new car. I would be very happy with that entire schedule and events that made that new car happen. Congratulations on the new Z06.

I have the same impression. ^^^^ might be why.

Get the right training folks. Speak softly and carry a tree trunk or something.
