How to get a 2000-03 Vette into the 10's?
OK so it was the clutch that was saving your shafts from breaking. I have a stock 2001 with no mufflers and i ran a similar time to yours. 12.86 @ 112.8mph with a 2.2 60 foot. It was my first time drag racing. I shifted to 2nd too early and i hit the rev limiter in 2nd a few times :oops:
My '00 would break into the 10's with heads (Patriot stage II LS6), cam(224/228), LS6 intake, headers, 150 NX wet shot, 3.42's, tune, built A4, and some BFG DR's (315/30/18). The key to my car was the A4. Easy 1.6 60' times on DR's with a personal best of 1.588. Motor only was in the 11's.
