Default LS2 C6 bolt-on car does 400rwhp

A&A corvette made a post on corvetteforum about a car with LG longtubes, an air intake (not manifold) and catback that did 400rwhp.

First of all - does anyone know if dyno "tricks" we used on this pull?

Also, does this sound reasonable? I don't know what an LS6 vette would dyno with the same mods, but adding 18 (for the extra inches) would make sense. (forget about the stock ls2 program limitations here, btw)

So do bolt-on LS6 vettes do 380+ ?

My LS2 is going into a camaro, and I would be pleased with anything close to 400 with similar mods.

I've got 378 with the mods in my sig, and my car has dyno'd a little low since it was stock(349) I've seen some bolt-on Z06's dynoing around 400.

We did full exhaust, KOOKS, no cats, B&B bullets...and extensive tuneing(full day)....and made 399.6 rwhp and 386 rwtq on an 2005 Z51,...about two months ago. Car now has vararam,..and needs a revisit to the dyno.

Car was ran on MOBIL 1 93 octane **ONLY** as we've actually seen twenty horsepower useing mobil one,...in more then one case.

Daaaang, those are some good numbers from a LS2. V-stech, you mean Mobil gas? My friend and I swear by it as Mobil has the best consistant octane numbers.

Honestly man. I'm not allowed on the dyno unless we have MOBIL one fuel in the car. My tuner swears by it.

So much to the point, we've syphoned(doubt I spelled that right, must of swallowed fuel) full tanks that were not filled with mobil one.

...and we have seen 20 rear wheel horsepower on the dyno with mobil one fuel.

Go figure.

LS2 cars seem to be more picky about the mobil one fuel... just from what we have seen.

Mobil one fuel? Is this the standard Mobil 93 octane?
