Anyone running 285/40-18 on a C5
Anyone running a 285/40-18 on a 9.5 wheel on there C5? Let me know how they fit and if you have any pics, I know they are about a .3" or 3/8" higher then a 275/40-18. Not much of a height differance maybe a meater look? I thaught Id try this size since there is such a mixed opinion about the 295/35-18 fitting on a stock C5 wheel. Thanks!

I can tell you for sure, that the factory stock 295 Z06(C5) tires fit on my 2000 FRC stock wheels(5 spokes..painted gunmetal). I mounted and balanced them myself. They went on the wheel pretty good too,...no real problem. Then again, we do have a pimp tire machine.
I was given two rear eagles....that where brand new. They do fit...very nicely. No rubbing, and my car is pretty low. Looks pretty good too...but I need some more tire/wheel...I wanna do some mini tubs.
sorry...no news on the 285 setup
If you need pictures....i'm sure I could work something out.
