Rootbeer brown corvette?
Rootbeer brown corvette? so in my last few posts ive been talking about buyting my first vette.I found a guy at a local dealership that said he has a carvette he can get me directly from a wholesaler.Its a 2001 c5 glass targa 6 speed heads up display active handling etc 40,000 miles.He can get it to me for about $17000 out the door!thats a pretty good price i havnt found anything close to that around here.Anyways-he says to me "the only down side is that its rootbeer brown".Ive never seen this color and i dont really care cause my uncle has a body shop so ill just have it painted but im still curious-what does it look like?any one have any pics?Its a factry corvette color but ive never seen it
i was thinking maybee its pewter cause that could be a far off brown.Or maybee it was repainted and the guy didnt know that burt it was one owner with a clean dmv and carfax record.I really didnt think they made a rootbeer brown or what if they did and its like really ultra rare!no probabky not but thatd be cool.It couldve been black and he could have been confused.I havnt seen a brown car at all from gm in a while so it doesnt make sense for them to paint their flagship car such a weird color.Ill just have to see the car tomarrow and let you guys know

go check it out, it might look cool and then you would have 1 of a kind vette. Though make sure other people think its cool too, cuz when you got to re-sell it you dont wanna have a car that only yourself thinks is great, and everyone else thinks is ugly.
