Sales Tax
Is there a way to avoid paying sales tax in my state? I live in nebraska but bought the car in MO. I dont' believe it right that I have to pay sales tax if I bought it in another state.

Not really much you can do if you stay legal...just be prepared b/c that initial registration (with taxes) hits the ol' wallet pretty hard! Mine was over $2K (OUCH!)

The only way to lessen it is to write the bill of sale lower than the actual amount..... But yeah, you must pay tax in the state that you will be registering it. Sucks, but thank Uncle Sam!
