Default Just finished my exhaust...

Last fall I had QTP long tubes, high flow cats and x-pipe installed... But I left the stock ti catback on because I know I wasn't going to gain any power with a catback... But the sound was still too tame for me... so this winter I bought a set of borla stingers (two tip)... Well I just finished putting them on and took it out for a drive... I'm in love, this is the sound I was looking for... it has a nice thick sound down low thats not too loud and it sounds mean up top.... Thanks to those guys who recommended this setup... I couldn't be happier.... Unless maybe I get rid of those cats....

So my vette isn't going to get much more... The SS will supply the thrills at the track... the vette will just be a quick/fun daily driver in the summer...

Exactly... and the SS will keep me from beating on the vette too hard... I got over 50 passes in at the track last year and was planning on alot more this year... But eventually I would break something in the IRS and it would stat sqeaking and rattling more... so I'm just going to keep the Vette the way it is... maybe throw a small shot on it for playing on the street, but it won't see much more track time.

Good idea. Little nitrous goes a long way.

Nice cars, both of them. Gonna miss the Z at the track. Tim, does the 2 tip stinger sound louder than the 4 tip or is it a different tone? Or is it just a cosmetic choice?

I'll have the Z back at the track a couple times this year... I want my 11 sec slip I'm just going to dial back the amount of abuse it see's... I'm not sure if the two tip sounds louder or not... I still had the stock ti catback on there and it is A LOT louder than that. And the reason I bought the two tip....? It was a random decision... I bid on it on ebay... threw a low price on it and ended up winning the auction... But I'm happy with the two tip... I wasn't sure If I was going to like the two tip look... But now that it's on I'm happy with the way it looks...
