Boy just me maybe but I couldnt get the nittos to hook, felt like a skating rink out there. BFG's were good for 400hp, then went to ET streets with the new setup.. I think thet make the DR to fit only the 17" wheels unless something has changed in a year I've looked into it.

On my 02 Z06 w/ 363 rwhp, I ran 315.35.17 BFG CompTA DRs and later 275.40.17 MT ET Street Radials.

Either tire will fit a Z06 front wheel 17" x 9.5", but those BFGs are better on a wider wheel.

The ET Street Radials gave a slightly better 60' and were more consistent but are harder on your clutch because their soft compound requires 800-1000 more launch rpm.

THE very stick BFG Drag Radials will fit right on the rear of stock Z06 rims without any rubbing issues on the Z06 brake duct and C5 couple or vert, in 305/35/18s!!

Im running 335/30/18 Nittos on my stock 18*10.5 Z06 wheels... They grab great! No rubbing either. I got them cheap and they are WIDE. Wider than the 335 Pilots I had on before. Im probably not using all of the tread but one of the fastest folks on the vette forums likes the extra sidewall effect you get from running a wide tire on a narrow rim. Id have to say I agree! The car still handles VERY well also.

I have 335 nitto DRs on the back but I also have a wider wheel then stock.

If you really want to hook, I have heard nothing but good things about NT01s
