I dont see how anyone racing a car like this without better track tires and if you mod it, you're crazy! 480 whp on my C5 accelerating on 315 DRs can get a little crazy when on it hard. I can imagine stockers with that much power... Thats like a loaded gun waiting to go off i'd imagine!

Kraest, when the hell do you want to run'em

The car still runs good man, I'm lovin' it!

Yea if you run a differnet tire I HIGHLY suggest a strut brace for that rear. Wheel hop is a bad thing I wish I had my pics from it. But they are on the computer at the house in KY
I agree big time! Not sure if they, DTE, makes shafts yet for the C6. I have the brace and both shafts in my C5Z and have no issues, yet... 6k+ launches, 1.4 60... hopefully 11.2s tomorrow.

We already have a whole host of heavy duty internal components in production for the 2006-2006 C6 differentials, just call anytime if you have any questions or need to place an order.

Great news for the C6s. Brother you realy need a brace and shafts. I have heard the C6 tranny/diff is more rigid then the C5, which makes it more brittle when you get wheel hop. I have seen 1 C6 go boom already down here Great insurance plus with your RWHP... better to be safe then sorry IMO.

Default trap speeds..

Buy some tuning software so you can data log your runs to make sure your not getting any knock/detonation at the track or on the street...
with your rwhp, you should be running about 10 more mph trap speeds easily. My 03 Z06 with cartek h/c, small 224/228 .567 on 114 with headers, stock ti muffs, other bolt ons traps 126-127mph in good air at gainesville, FL. sea level track. normally runs 11.0's with 1.58-1.65 60 fts. I dyno 435rwhp. Traction will help you a lot as well as track time. Try to get the motor cool as possible. Try running the cooling fan for a few minutes, crank up car for about 10 secs, then run cooling fan again, repeat cycle till coolant temp around 140. Try not to run car till you are next up to pull out of staging lanes.

Do you know when the differential brace will be ready for the 06's? Do you sell the output shafts seperately?

Thanks a lot for the advice everyone. I think I'm going to be getting a new set of wheels/tires in a couple weeks. I probably won't run it again until I can beef up the differential but I'll post some new numbers as soon as I get them.
