All depends on how much you want to spend! If you're wanting to do this step by step, then I'd def start out with Long tube headers, DR, and CAI. Then improve your suspension Then do H/C set up specifically for whatever you're wanting to do (ie power adder, NOS etc...) Good luck, and let us know what you decide.

Do you have the 3.15 gears or the 2.73s?
I would do a Vararam CAI, 160 degree thermostat and Cartek (www.cartek.net) fan module to start with.
After that I would do drag radials (gotta get some 18" rims to fit them) and then look into a high stall torque converter and maybe gears while the trans is out anyway.
My friend Dennis went 11.62@117/118mph in his '05 A4 with a similar set up last week.

Well, depending on what you want to do with the car. You can just supercharge or twin turbo it and be done for the most part. If you want to go N/A I would do a good H/C pkg and 3:73 gears with a 3200-3600 stall. That alone would get you in the Low 11's with DR. Either way you choose depending on what your looking to spend, I would start off with the basics with a Really good intake, go with the proven (ie. Vararam, or callaway) and a free flowing exhaust to your liking (B&B sounds and performs good as well as Corsa). These cars are not hard to get into the low 11's with the right N/A set-up and with FI can be anywhere from 9's-10's depending on traction. good luck with your choice and keep us posted.

I thought that the C6 vettes came with the six speed auto in them, maybe I'm wrong.
I would first do, convertor, gears, drag radials and a set of slicks for the track. Easily lower the 1/4 mile times by .5 seconds if not more. Plus from a roll it will run just as good as the manuals will.
The how high of a stall will depend on what you do to the motor. A big cam, you will want a higher stall to keep it in its power band. Now do you want a car that sounds like a race car, cammed/spray, or do you want a sleeper, turbo/supercharger? That my friend is up to you. Me I have alway loved the sound of a huge cam. good luck to you and happy modding!!!!

i like the kooks myself. However Texas speed has theres out now for the c5 vettes and they cost a lot cheaper than the kook and the LG's. I would just get the ORXP jet hot coated and be done with it. With the extra money you save, there is your cam.
