OK DO I SPEND THE $$ TO UPGRADE THE 04 C5 TO THE 427 OR 434 OR WOULD YOU GO WITH A NEW 07 Z06...

I don't plan on modding my current Z06, instead I'm just putting that money back for a C6Z06

haha you'll probally end up modding the 07 too. They are sick looking though, so i'd have to lean towards that.

07 Z06 for sure, the car would be brand new and would come with a full warranty for the 500 hp.

Mod the C5 is my choice. You can do it and spend less than you would on a C6 Z06 and make it just as fast or faster.

If your going to go all out than mod the hell out of your current zo6, otherwise go with the 07. If I wasn't going to mod my current zo6 I would go with a c6 zo6, but I am going with a big cube stroker.

doesn't make much sense to spend all that money for the 427ci unless you get the C6 body to go with it.

Love the modded c5 but I'd say if you don't mind dropping the coin.

Buy the new c6 z06.

Its the total package and it has a 100K mile warranty.

80 grand though is big bucks. IMO but if you got it what the hell.

I agree. If you've got the cash laying around, build for a massive TT system. You'll dance circles around everyone while you're pumping out a massive 800-900HP.

I have to admit though, the new Z's are awesome looking beasts!

Good luck on whatever you choose.

C5... i know WAY to many people selling the C6 Z06's and going back to a C5. I think the C5 is more of a racecar and responds better than a C6 z06. Also you have to think of how much its going to cost to keep up the C6 Z06, and i know a 345/30/19 tire is not cheap, i believe 2500 for a full set for a new Z, ouch.

I sold some tires to a guy that just sold his. He said it felt to bulky and it wasn't so much of a raw racecar. I dunno i've never rode in one or drove one. But I know someone else that has done it too and said the same thing.
