Im hoping for about 1000 rwhp through the glide with the motor thats in there now. I will one day switch to an LSX block and twin 80's for an 8.0 pass. I have no desire right now to go 7's.

how much in parts for the rear and trans and other parts to make it work do you have in it. i would love to do this to my car. it should hook and leave hard. straight axle is the only way a vette is gonna be able to compete with f bodies and mustangs at this level.i showed my mechinac this thread who has a lift he said it would be to hard to do and you did it in your garage.your are the man
. i wish a vender would come out with a kit to do what you have done instead they try to make a rear end stronger to hold more power and they are still breaking .if they do get one to hold alot of power then the transmission wouldnt last on my 3rd transmission in 2 years.

I was actually thinking of building a kit in a year or so. It would be after all the testing on the car is done and dialed in. I have about 15,000 in the drivetrain. I built alot of ajustment into everything so I hope I can get it to hook.
