Default zo6 exhaust

i was curious. which catback does everyone prefer for their vette? horsepower gained to weight gained or lost. i already made up my mind on kooks headers. those seem like a sure thing. thanks.

Tony Mamo did a test a few years ago between the Z06 cat back and others that have big hp claims. This was on a high hp car too. Differences were about 3 hp so pick your system on sound but watch for drone. The Z06 isn't as loud, but is a heck of lot lighter and doesn't drone at all, period. To me its a no brainer although I do like the deeper sounding exhaust too.

LG headers and B&B bullets here. The catback is only for sound and looks. I have tried my Z06 Ti and the bullets on the dyno and there was no gain between the two.

I've never heard anything negative about the LG headers. If you're wanting gains via exhaust, LG pro's are the ones to get.

Unfortunately, with the Vette, you seem to pay more for things. If you are thinking of trying another exhaust, try and find a used one so if you don't like it you can re-sell it. They are very pricey new.

i try to do that anyways. i had to sell my soul to the devil and my left nut to science just to get the car. my credit was just good enought so that i only had to sign over my heart to the bank. anyways, i kinda noticed that vette parts are a little more pricey.
