Anyone see this, it's not worth watching. Complete hack job but I posted it because time and again they reiterate that it comes equiped with "leaf springs" what a bunch of british tools. Surely this couldn't be true?

They aren't the same stacked leaf springs like on earlier pickup trucks etc, but they are "leaf" springs.

 

Jeremy Clarkson is a pratt, he hates American cars and has always panned them.

Finally he has to admit the C6 ZO6 is a true supercar for half the price of a European supercar.

They gave the C6 400hp model a good review the year before and they were surprised at just how fast it lapped the circiut 1min.28.6 seconds.

Clarkson moans about how impratical a C6 ZO6 is and he drives a Ford GT! 7 mpg according to them!

You know what, that video WAS worth watching.....
First off, those two dudes are Gay.....and I dont mean as in preference Gay, I mean they are Gay at Heart!!
They are bias towards American cars now, and always will be.....the mentality of their Nation is like that.
But, what I dont understand is WHY do kids...(and some grown "men") here in America run out and will buy an Import over an American car?....Why do we not hold the same mentality?

Yes: The enterior is shitty!
Yes: The ****** clutch is sloppy!
And yes: Im paying almost 65 grand for a lot of plastic.
But, you know what? No matter how screwed up our Country is....and our cars, I will NEVER buy an Import!!!

what is so wrong about this review? if you consider that you can get a 911 there for the same price why shouldn't they hold it to a higher standard?

probably because things aren't that simple....there are many brits who like american cars (GUESS WHAT - the reviewer of that vette? Yeah. He owns a DODGE CHARGER. I think it's a 69. I'm sure he spent his hard earned money on one because of his "bias") Also to be honest I don't see how you can make a case for american cars being better then european cars - The Vette is an INCREDIBLE machine for the price but most american cars aren't segment contenders like the Vette. You have Audi, BMW, Toyota/Lexus, VW, etc etc. American makers can't even break even these days...part of that is because of unions and part is because of competition. Hell the Camry makes 300hp and is reliable as hell. If I wanted to buy a fighter jet I'd by american because they make the best. If I want to buy a car I'll probably look elsewhere. Cadillac has some nice products in the pipeline....but I can't say much about the other GM makes. The sad part is that Ford Europe and GM Australia make some GREAT cars. Imagine an LS series V8 in a sedan with a decent interior and RWD or AWD as an option. If they choose to try to sell me junk while they are selling good stuff elsewhere why should I give them business? Why does Europe deserve the new Focus while they sell the old one here? (hint: they don't think they have to give us the new good one so they will milk the old one for all it's worth)

Personally I don't like being treated as inept. Honestly that's how I feel about it, I know many won't agree but I can tell you I'm a member on many car forums and it's how LOTS of people feel. It's not like the american cars are 90 percent as good as the alternatives, it's a huge gap. With that said I still want a blacked out Z06.
