Got that Z06 Today..... I signed the papers on a 2003 50th A. Z06. Silver. The car has 18K and is stong. Cam hear we come..... This is my 4th LS1 Style engine to trick out. I'm sure there are crazy threads about these subjects but what Cam should I get. I want it loud and fast. I won't do heads right away...... I had a 219/225 561. in my V. It ripped stock C5 Z06's but it was a baby torque cam that was perfect for a 4K LBS Caddie. What's good for this Z06........
I'd say a g5x3 cam if you want something fairly big. I had one in my c5 with some afr heads and it made good power. A friend is running the HPE S cam and really likes it as well. I've also seen alot of guys running the MS 3 as well. When I added the procharger I swapped cams and used the 224/228 and it still had a nice lope but well mannered.

What are the specs on these cams you guys have? What spings are you guys using? I was going to do: rods,retainers,seats,springs etc. but no heads. I want to raise this sucker to 7k and have a great mid range.
