Default Racing bikes?

What sort of rwhp #'s or mph would a C5 Z06 need to run with a newer 600cc bike from a roll? I just don't have a clue as to what most bikes run now.

I agree 450-500 RWHP. Once you get up to about 130-140 mph you start to walk a 600cc bike. It really depends on the rider.

Depends a lot on rider as many new 600s are 11 second bikes out of the box and with mods hit 10s.

I would say 500rwhp though.

^ most NEW 600cc bikes are low-mid 10 seconds stock with a prorider.

hayabusa's are high 9's with a prorider, but the best i've seen at the local track is high 10's for a busa.

with bikes, its mostly the rider. i've beat a R6 with a midly modded T/A from 70-140mph. so with bikes you never know.

450 at the wheels will do it, just don't race from under 70mph. The bikes are just ridiculous from 0 to 100, but after 100 the cars will walk them bad.

Right now I have an intake and headers on my car. So I'm guessing a 150 shot should do the trick

You should be fine with what I put down. I put down 489rwhp/474rwtq. This is racing a few bikes. The first vid is against a 04GSX-R 600 with a slip on and the next vids is me vs a 04 or 05 GSX-R 750. The other bike that is just playing with me is a modded GSX-R 1000! Enjoy.

My CBR600 was only fast to about 115, then the car will run all over it.

With 450rwhp you shouldn't have a problem with the 600's as long as you do freeway pulls. So the spray will put you ahead and really leave those bike guys scratching there heads.

I had a bone stock 00' C5 6 speed with a 150 wet shot on it. Raced an 02 R6 from 60. I started in third, I walked all over his **** twice in a row from 60-160. Past 120 it got REALLY ugly. I immediately hung with him and started walking past. At the time I put down 442/550

Good vids the 1000 putting it up on the back wheel and then taking of now that is taking the ****!

I had ten years of sports bike ending with a Busa and that is an insane machine. Bikes are fast!

I just got this Vette and some fool on a Triumph sprint 900 trys to race with me on a we road the other day. I know you can only sqirt the bike when it staright so first corner I catch him go round the outside and I'm gone.

I had a Triumph speed triple the older verion and the newer alloy frame one with the 955 motor. The old speed triple was crap heavy and slow same engine and frame as a Triumph Sprint 900 I raced a CBR 600 with it and got pissed off I couldn't shake him, So i sold it. it sounded nice though

I had some insane bikes two R1's two Fireblades GSXR 750 and the Busa 90mph in first gear!

I took the Busa to the drag strip and taking things easy cause it had just had a new clutch fitted 11.20@130 mph there was Plenty of Busas in the tens that day and some burnt out clutches.

Yep, it takes 450 rwhp to beat a 600....

550 to 650rwhp to beat a 1000

700-800+rwhp to beat a busa...that could go for modded busa's as well. Yes, even forced induction busa's are included.

This is mostly a list for Y-bodies but, in a well thought out mustang or F-body, beating bikes is also achievable with similar, if not, the same rwhp numbers(given proper weight/gearing measures). From what we've seen on the streets of South Florida anyways. All these examples are from a highway roll, starting between 40mph and 100mph, and in excess of 180mph.

In most but, not all cases, the bike will take the initial JUMP,...but the car(s)...simply mow them down. I have seen a few Y-bodies put the bikes on the bumper right away, and keep them there. Crazy fast.

From a roll you shouldn't have a problem pulling on a 600cc in pretty stock form.

But from a dig if the rider is decent it will be hard to catch him for a while.

After 135mph 600cc bikes quit pulling....and then they only top out around 165-170.

For a 750 or 1000 a 75-100shot on top of a stock Z06 should do the trick!

I have an 03 honda VFR 800cc (w/Vtec) I have raced a few Vettes and other bikes on the high way. I will say the 600cc ranged bikes are quick but not fast. 0 to 110 range they will most likely beat a Z unless you have some power adders. Anything over that you shouldnt have a problem running them down. The car will keep pulling harder than the bike at that point. My bike with a pro rider is a 10.80s bike due to its weight (520lbs) From a Dead stop I will be tied up to 100ish with them then i pull away. But from a roll I walk about 95% of most 600cc bikes cause of power bands and gearing..

I told you would take him Tony. My Z stayed dead even with an 04 600RR from a 25mph roll up to 100 on speedway and my car is no where near your car. Also keep in mind that 600 bikes are ideal for track use rather than drag racing. I myself was pretty disappointed from the lack of torque a 600 has to offer. You really have to wind them up very much like a 125 two stroke in corners to get the most out of them. 600s are quick but not as fast as alot of people glorify them to be. It gets to me when alot of these guys on street bikes who think they know how to ride look down on me when I'm cruising in my Z with there omg! siq wheelies lol. they remind me of quad riders which the majority (not all) are gomers and can't ride on a real track with triples and gnarly whoop sections.

Z O Sick, nice vids

Heres one where i tried to pick on a 2005 GSXR1000
40-130 rolls
http://media.putfile.com/joeyg-vs-bikes

Power output I really don't know. As I was trapping 129 earlier at the track (heads/cam/100 shot).
