Default What should my C5 run with xxx mph?

I have a 3200 Vig stalled A4 C5 with h/c/n20, it has run 11.9@119 N/A and 11.1@126 N20. I see people running alot faster times with less mph, granted I have traction issues but these ET's seem slow for the mph. These times were run with a tranny that let go soon after and no stall but would those make that big of a difference? I now have a FLP Level 4 as well and since I most likely won't be drag racing it soon what should it run with that mph?

Sounds good.

ET all depends on the launch.

You'd probably go 10s on the dope with the 3200 stall as long as you hooked up.

I agree with Mike, you have the potential to hit the 10s on the dope. You can use drag racing math, but it just depends on the car, track, etc. However, you didn't note your 60'. I'm guessing your 60's were 1.9-2.0. I ran an 11.84 @ 117.9 with a 1.75 60', NA. IOW, I'm a tenth faster with 1 less mph (or roughly 8-10 rwhp).

I have a time slip where I ran an 11.206 @ 118.32 mph with my 98 Camaro. 60' = 1.496 I had a PI 3600 stall converter.

You F-body guys always get better 60 foots with the solid rear axle
and I am so jealous. I don't know the 60 foot because the previous owner was the one who drove it to those times. I don't think I will be drag racing it thats why I am curious to what its capable of. So I am guessing its capable of mid to low 11's with traction and the new stall and tranny N/A. And I am happy with that

I would say the stall you should get depends on what type of cam you have and where the power is made at. A bigger cam will make more hp further up in the rpm range. I would say go with a 3600-3800 stall and some sticky tires. My run is in my sig. So i am guessing his 60's were around what I was getting. There is still more left to get. With a bigger stall and sticky tires you should be mid 11's N/a and definitely 10's on the juice!!! Don't worry vettes can get just as good if not better 60's than f-bodies. Go to the thread in this section for best 60's of vettes. Pretty damn amazing if you ask me.

Yeah, I will need the DTE rear end if I ever drag race the thing. Also he told me that tranny was slipping on those runs but I didn't know how much of a difference that made in his times. Next stage is FI with spray on top of it should be interesting to explore the outer limits of my stock internals!

How stupid is it to want to run DR's in the summer? Because even on a 305 street tire that won't be enough with FI!

Im guessing that mph is good for some 10.6x's with a good 60". A 122mph is a boaderline 10 sec run IMO.

Definitely MPH enough for a 10 second pass in the automatic.

My M6 has ran a best of 10.68 @ 130 on a 1.62 sixty

Well that makes me happy the times were run on NT555R's and with the old tranny and stock stall. I would imagine with a good tune it would run closer to 128-130 mph. It would probably hook up better on MT streets.

What do you A4 stall guys do to not blow your rear diff to pieces? And do the C5's have wheel hop usually? Mine has no wheel hop at all it just smoothly blows off the tires.
