And I don't know about saying that guy couldn't drive, there are 450hp GTOs way in the 11s. The guy with the GTO has vids of him walking away from other zo6s too, I believe he also went 12.3 or so at the track. Most stock zo6s I've seen go somewhere around 12.5...some go faster, some go a lot slower.

i guess i have some input on this, a while back last summer, i was driving my vette which i no longer own, had a medium sized cam ls6 intake blackwing tune shifter z06 mufflers and thats it for go fast parts. The gto was a heads cam full exhaust built trans car, all of my friends know my car is notorious for no traction especially w/old bf kd's , well anyways i knew all the specs on the gto because the vette shop we are friends with built the car, anyways we went at it 3 times, he was infront of me he pulled till 45 then i caught and had to get on the brakes, this was a built auto car too and he had good traction, 3 times we did that, then we went from a 45 roll till about 100 and i pulled hard i mean if i coulda got around him 3-4 lenghts. Later that day he was car shopping and so was my dad, they had no affiliation my dad was not driving my car and the guy told my dad he kicked the **** out of some "gay" purple car. Well after i ran this guy i called and told my dad that so my dad kinda chuckled, the guy asked why he laughed, my dad told him thats not what i heard and proceeded to tell him he got owned. just a random gto story i thought i would share, its not really well written because im tired

With proper mods and a good driver, GTOs can whoop up on vettes, and Zs, i've taken down a couple with my maggied goat.
ANd i've done vice versa too, however, I do prefer driving in my goat than the vette.

WOW, I would love to surprise the **** outta you if we lined up. That guy in the GTO doesnt know how to drive, thats very apparent. Next time give him the jump and whoop him.

Alpha technically my dad purchased it back from me. In the fall my parents decided as of the new year to move here to Wilmington NC from chicago, I was forced only being 20 to either give up the car and stay in chitown or come here. I decided to stay, well one thing led to the next and here i am sunny warm beautiful wilmington NC, i most likely will not buy that car back from him again even though that is my dream car even though i have owned it twice since being 18, i will however if the right mppm car comes along w/the right miles and right price will be purchasing that in the next 3 months, to me i can never own just a black red white blue corvette, i need something rare, maybe thats jsut me maybe ill grab a fairway green, i had the opportunity in chicago to buy a aztec gold 98 c5 w/25k on it for 23k. I passed and everyday wish i hadnt. good luck w/getting a purple one there out there and there is only one combo to me, thats what i had

We have a lot of solid ******** out there in Vetts. too. I haven't met any yet,.....but,.....You KNOW they are there!! I have met some semi cool people in Goats at the track just chasing the dragon like the rest of us. I try to stay from slamming ANYONE because of their choice of ride I find that a surprisingly large number of people NEED to feel better than someone. I always try to get along with everyone so they will eventually show me those pictures of their woman with no clothes on..................

He did stick it in first but IF he had a converter! He would stay with me or take me but buy the time this dude gets a converter installed ill have 3'90's and cam. I'm trying to get ready for tracking racing....CAN'T WAIT......
