My new Vette

Hey just wanted to show off my new baby, I'm graduating from college in a week and have been saving for this for a long time.

So you got an '04 huh...

You were in buying territory of first year C6's... what made you stay with the C5?

Eigther way it's a really nice lookin' Z.

i thought about it, there were a few 05s for similar dough but had more miles than this one, but when i was 16 the 01 z06 came out and when i saw the magazine, i think car and driver, i knew i wanted one. at the time i was driving that red pickup there in the background, which i built an engine for during high school. anyways, back on topic, i've always wanted a c5 z06, and i think the commemorative is the coolest looking one of the bunch. whether the c6 is faster or not (i think the c5 z06 is quicker?) doesn't really even enter into it for me, i like the z06 and i've always wanted one you know what i mean?

The C5 Zo6 is slightly faster than the Z-51 C6.

I've driven both, I'm just saying what I've seen/felt.

The C5 Zo6 was louder/rougher... the C6 wasn't much slower but was much quieter/smoother.

You do know that with the Comemorative (sp?) package that '04 Zo6 has a carbon fiber hood right? Sweet!
