Drove it 700 miles from Tampa back to NC; drove like a champ. 26 mpg @ 80 mph - tough to beat. The car is so freakin' fast it is scary. My plan was to buy one, keep the TA and then compare them for a couple of mos and get rid of one, but it's not looking good for the TA. The Z has more creature comforts, rides better, drives better, doesn't scrape my driveway getting in. The TA does have 4 cupholders to 1 for the Z. Big question is what next. Not really familiar with the SC but learning fast. It has some kind of fan on it that is really loud. The previous owner was fixing to repl with an A&A shroud kit (?). Might have to look into that. Not much left to do to it, just drive!!

It is the same one from the CF. Paid $33k plus plane and hotel to get there. Finally washed and cleaned exterior last nite. Florida bugs are many. It looks really sharp, especially when the wheels got cleaned up. Paint is good on it. I had it parked in garage next to TA, which has been compounded, polished, sealed and waxed with TLC. The first thing my wife said about the Z - "The paint looks really dull!". I told her it would take just a little work and it would be fine. She told me to get busy with it.
Yes it is freakin' fast!!!
Only issues are 1)I have only 1 set of keys and fob, 2)vanity mirror glass is broken(?), and 3) the fan noise from the fi. Easy stuff to fix I think. I have tried to stay calm thru this whole thing but when I go out into my garage and see both cars there, it is hard to believe. It is a little humbling.

I have the extra set of keys now. Need to fix driver's vanity mirror (cracked), !molding, boost gauge backlite doesn't work, and lastly, do something about fan noise. Not sure how the cooling is set up for sc. Fan noise is louder than car. Going to talk to guys @ EPP to see what direction to take. Going to Road Atlanta in July, so I will need to do whatever there. Taking both the TA and the Z to see which is more fun! Can't wait.

Looks nice Nice setup
What do you need cup holders for! More chance of spilling stuff in your nice new Vette!
I had a 99 Z28 before my Vette even though they have almost identical LS1's the difference is like night and day, I wouldn't go back to my F/body now!
