hhmmm......I havent seen one in a vette well I dont really know what your talking about but if your talking about the edelbrock victor jr. manifold for ls1 if so then I havent seen one in a vette but I have seen it in a ls1 TA.It looked awsome I think I dont know but im pretty sure I saw it on this site.
The above one looks very restrictive with its sharp narrow bend. I bet the below one would work much better. I have heard it does clear the C5 crowl, but needs a high rise hood to fit under.
Interesting setup do all the vortech kits require moving altenator to the otherside?? I will say that is the first decent looking elbow ive seen so far, I like how you can't see the welds.
the first pic is an example of how the short the plenum has to be to clear the stock hood. It flows pretty well too, the same manifold/plenum made 508rwhp on a 427ci c5 and over 800rwhp on spray.

All of the kits made by Vortech do move the alternator to the passenger side. There are no welds on the elbow , it's cast.

Are you talking about the one I posted. I just bought the setup and I will make some modifications to make it look a lot better.
I wouldn't think the cross section would hurt flow that much. I am more concerned about the 180 degree into the intake but I think I have some ideas for that..
Did you do the intake and S/C at the same time? Basically wondering what gains the Vic Jr has over a LS6 intake. I have been thinking about swapping out intake with a Vic Jr.
Thats what I am still trying to figure out. I have a vic jr. intake in my garage just no elbow cause I never found one I liked until I saw those pics. I am using a Fast 90 now just wondering if it will benefit me to change over? And how about a link to where you bought it from.
Wow your combo is looking pretty mean Kevin, have you had it out this year?
No , I haven't. I'm putting a forged motor in and it's not finished yet. Besides , I'm not in a hurry to get the Z06 back together because I'm having way too much fun with my other Vette.

I put the intake on after the supercharger because I needed to move the MAF between the intercooler and the throttle body, and that couldn't be done with the stock type intake. I've heard that the intake works very well with F/I and the car feels faster with this intake , but I didn't get a chance to dyno it with the new intake. I don't think that this intake would be a good choice for a heads/cam car , but F/I or a seriously built motor would probably see a gain.
