clutch problems
or do i need to find another dealership that knows how to put a clutch in? it just makes me so mad because for a couple of days it works fine, then all of a sudden the pedal stops feeling so stiff. also, is it the clutch that makes the car vibrate when i ease off of it? or is it possibly put in wrong? thanks guys

In short though, no it shouldn't be going out on you, thats unacceptable.
The chattering when you take off is a result of using an unsprung/sprung uck'ed metalic disc, they all do it. Some worse then others.
FWIW, I avoid the dealerships like the plague. Try to find a local mechanic that specializes in LS1's and hopefully Corvette's. I found my shop at the local track.
In my opinion and several others. Ditch the brand, regardless of failure or success with it, and buy any other brand. Now 3 south florida vettes were totaled due to their failures.

2.480rwhp 2005 C6 Stage 5
3.500rwhp 2006 C6 Z06 stage 3
They all failed and were installed by seperate well known places.
I don't recommend them.

There is a few places around here that swear by Spec, other's that only put spec 3's in car that are only stock to slightly modded. Otherwise they put in the Mcleod twin disk and their adjustable master cylinder.
Sounds like you have aproblemwith either air in the system or you need to get what ROJO99 said. the adjustable master cylinder. btw, stay away from dealerships, they only know how to replace with stock OEM parts and will rip you off when it comes to performance parts and prices. Find a reputable performance shop that specializes in vettes.

they sent me a brand new one and it was out of spec (no pun intended
) and didnt work when i tried to install it so i sent it back, got another one and sold it. bought a mcleod street twin and i have never been more happy with a clutch. thing holds killer power and doesnt slip. has lasted me almost 10k miles already with no slipping.
next time you should attempt it yourself...its not that difficult

Cliff Notes:
(1) Aggressive launch and repetitive high-rpm shifts produce heat that can exceed 400 degrees. Fresh brake fluid in the clutch hydraulics handles that for a short time and then degrades. Once degraded, the fluid in the slave, which sits in the caldron called the bell housing, boils. When that happens you get pedal woes.
(2) Simple fix. Always, always keep your clutch fluid fresh, with ZERO murkiness.
