If you want a convertable or Targa top, the modded LS3 is your best option.

LS2 Corvette vs LS3 Corvette with just Headers and cold air:
Many have been asking for this comparison so we put the graphs up together.
Both C6 Corvettes had LG Pro Long Tube Headers and a cold air intake. THe LS2 had a halltech cold air and the LS3 has a K&N cold air
the other difference is that the LS2 (06 C6 Corvette) has a "Tune" and the 08 C6 LS3 does not have any tune.
Other than that, both have no cats and each has the same muffler.
Thanks
Lou G

Louis you guys have a million people on the edge of their seats just waiting to read the updates on the LS3 ..... How much longer before the ported heads are ready ?? Do you think the heads and a tune will be enough to get in the 530 - 550 rwhp range ??

Hey Doc,
If you go to LG's website you should see an M6 car (2008) that made 420ish rwhp and 400 rwtq with headers, K&N, plus a tune. The cammed car initially made 480ish without a tune. 500+ with a great tune in place.
Stick around, some of the secrets of the LS3 are still waiting to be unlocked. Just give LGM some more time and I am sure we'll see the first Cam only LS3 making 510+ rwhp. Way to raise the bar.
Still waiting to see what she'll put down with some ported heads.
