Corvette 1%er
I'm in a 12 step program and I'm at step 5 right now. 1. Corsa Catbacks
2. Vararam
3. H/C/4:10's/LT's
4. 402 w/L92's etc
5. New cam for the 402 (ordered after 500 miles on 1st cam)
6. 1 7/8 headers (Planned)
7. 6pt Roll Bar (Planned)
8. ??????
After I finish the 12 steps can I get a C6 and start over again?
BTW, I also have a '72 C3 that I'm working on. No it will not be a NCRS car.

Seriously there’s a lot of great people I’ve met on CF if you really want to find the jackasses hangout in OT for a while.

That is a great looking car sir .. I am sure it turns a lot of heads were ever it goes..
But you know that you will burn in Corvette hell for removing the factory wheels..
I know where you are coming from sir..but keep "the wave" alive..if they don't wave back it just shows how lame they are..I have been a Corvette and a F body guy since the 60s. GM always wanted for the Corvette to be Americas sports car..my take is that it always was a "Hot Rod" that went around corners better than most American cars..thoses old big block cars were great in a straight line but did not corner or brake particularly well when stock...but being able to lay rubbber from here to Chicago was their strong point..a great example of the old power to weight ratio thing that has always been the first rule of hot rodding... I have never been able to leave anything stock no matter what kind of vehicle it was...now days the Corvette is a lot more sports car than it used to be..but it sure makes a great platforum to start a hot rod from .. I say mod the hell out of them!!..I always acknowledge another Vette owner but that doesn't mean I want to hang out with him....like most everything in life there are differences..no need to bash each other... if we were all the same it would be a dull world .. people with similar thoughts and philosophys seems to always find each other anyway .. I guess after this long ramble what I wanted to say was that we have made some very general statements about the CF ... myself included.. there are some very sharp guys over there if you visit the right section..and the same can be said over here on ls1tech .. it is just more of a high performance minded crowd here ..
It's only money!
Everyone has their own preferences,
but I think you would get a better return on your money if you went with the TT over the model year jump.
I agree with most of the comments about CF. (especially Nine Ball's)
The forced induction forums are definitely the best places to visit.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

Every forum is going to have some irritating members. I've learned to just take everything I read on message boards with a grain of salt and not get worked up about it like some people do. I have learned a lot from the corvette forum as well as LS1Tech and both are valuable to their members. I have no intention of boycotting either of them because I can't stand some of the people that post there. That would just be silly.
Corvettes are meant for washing/waxing/garaging and the occasional car show (in documented, perfectly dry weather ONLY of course) and that's it.

I agree. I will ALWAYS wave
at any/all Corvettes when I'm in mine and I wave/nod/thumbs up of some sort to all (well, mostly the 4th gens) F-bodies when I'm in my Z28 as well. U gotta know that FI is as reliable as the tune.
Lingenfelter turbo cars run like an OEM car without the troubles you mentioned because they build a complete package including fuel system and they don't get greedy with timing or boost.
I'm willing to bet that if you had a professional install and tune a LPE or APS tubo on your LS2, you would never have the problems you mentioned.
I do like the sound of a turbo-charged LS3 though.

A turbo charged LS3 would be fun for sure.
There's a LOT of douchebags over there and know it alls (that honestly really don't know ****) They act all important and are "Legends in their own mind". I've gotten into arguements over there and had posts deleted and been threatened by moderators. And I didn't start it either. You can't call bullshit on someone either. Also everyone and their brother is becoming a Vendor or Sponsor over there. So it's super mafia style if you try and tell one of them they are wrong..
Speaking of tools... there's a lot of tools over there... but not in the toolbox. They reside in the driverseat... lol..
This place is great!!!! Thanks to all the Admins, Moderators and Sponsors for LS1Tech..!!!
