I changed my MAP sensor twice a week now, can't figure out what is the problem(s)!
every time I hook up the diablo to see what codes I have, I get the MAP sensor.. MAP sensor.. MAP sensor.. MAP sensor.. MAP sensor..
is there any problem with my car? I got "Unknown" code too! what the hell is that too?
Thx!

Sounds like you have a map sensor problem.

Seriously, how well does the MAP sensor fit in the manifold? Is it stock? or is it a FAST?

If it fits well, trace your wires, make sure nothing is crimping it. Did you do work recently on the car? If so, check your/someones work.

since you have a predator, whats the actual code?

For the C5, there is no unknown code that the PCM will set. It sounds like the Diablo tuner is reading a code it is not programmed to handle. The first thing you need to do is find out what the code is. I would go to your local auto parts store and have them scan the car. Once you have the code, we can help diagnose the problem.

Or you can scan it for free using the DIC. I agree it's very possible the problem is with the tuner and not the MAP. otherwise sounds like there is a problem "around" the map.

Has nothing to do with the tuner.

the car has a failure/fault.

Yes the car is throwing a code, but the tuner is not reporting it correctly. The C5 has no undocumented or "Unknown" codes. He needs to find out what the actual code is being thrown. Once that is done, the problem can be diagnosed.
