Default Removal of BSM's

So I take delivery of my (new to me) 02 Z06 in the next 7 days. It has BSM's......bleh. I was going to use dental floss to help the removal process anyone else have any helpful tips?

Also any of you guys want an EB Carvaggio rear spoiler. It was professionally removed from my Vette before transport.

Thanks for your time.

you can use a hair dryer to warm up the bsm's. They will come off easier, just make sure you just don't leave the hair dryer in one spot for too long.

I agree with scramblerman. I use a hair dryer to remove all sorts of emblems, etc. You can get any remaining goo off with 3M Adhesive remover. It takes the goo off and doesn't harm paint.

yea the 3M adhesive remover is awesome. Just remember after you get the goo off to reapply wax to where you took the moldings off at.

what color is the spoiler could be interested. Pending price could be interested regardless of color.

Let me know.

As stated, use a hair dryer to heat up a small section of spongy adhesive starting at one end. Then use dental floss in a sawing motion to cut through the adhesive. It helps to have a second person to lightly pull up on the BSM. The key is to work in small sections and take your time. For removing the remaining adhesive, I have also had good luck with Goo Gone.
