Default c5 z06 stock header fit c5 ls1?

My question is, Will a c5 z06 stock manifold/header bolt right up to the factory c5 set up with out having to purchase other z06 sections of the exhaust?

Sounds like a lot of work for nothing. Why are you considering this at all ?? If you are going to do an exhaust upgrade why not step up to the LG Pro Longtube headers ?? c5 z's (ls6) don't make more power then c5's (ls1) because of exhaust difference. The power is from higher compression, better flowing heads, and more rpms. Also the ls6 cam is a bit bigger and has slightly more duration if memory serves.

manifold are pretty easy to change out, not sure you will get too much of a gain if any from Z06 manifolds. Still not sure if they will bolt right up to the rest

your only going to pick up a couple hp btw at best. The time required to replace them i feel would not justify the increase atleast not to me. If you want LS6 power i'd buy the LS6 cam for starters and then the LS6 heads. Or both at the same time.. cost about $1200 for both That would be an all day or weekend project. But that would be where you'd get the increase. Not in those manifolds.

But to simply answer your question. Idk.. I know how you could find out though. Call a dealership and ask if there are different part numbers for the H-pipe between a z06 and coupe. If they share teh same part number than they will 100% bolt up.

Good luck with whatever you do.
