Thinking of selling my TA for a corvette....
I'm getting tired of the TA, and was thinking about selling it for a 00-02 vette. I'm sure theres alot of people who have done this, so I was just curious if the trade is worth it.

With that said, there is still a part of me that misses my TA

And NO! thats what i hate about the camaro is that it will never be really good at anything but drag, without alot of money I dont have. I want a car that will tear up curves.

thanks for the replies guys, well I think I'm gonna sell the TA and my bike to get a vette. I'm looking to get 00-02 C5 with around 60000 miles. It's nice because i just bought a new cam and fast intake(uninstalled) for the TA and I won't have to worry about selling them.

I have had my Z06 for2 mos now. I finally got it on the track at VIR last week. I haven't sold my TA yet so I took them both. TA has basically the same Strano set up as yours. Tracked them both. Yeah, the Z is fast, quicker, more balanced and more refined, but, the TA is so much fun. So predictable, easy to catch when you overdrive it. I drove my Z like a woman because I was not used to it, plus it has over 500rwhp. I slung the TA all over the track and had a blast. I will probably keep the Z because it is a nicer car but you will miss the TA. I have been spoiled for the past 2 mos having both, but the TA has got to go.

I like red by the way. Good luck in your choice. You cannot go wrong either way.

I just sold my '02 WS6 (70k on the clock) about a month ago and picked up an '00 C5 (50k on the clock) a couple of weeks back. I had to drop a little extra cash on the 'vette, but nothing outrageuos. I've been happy with the decision. Haven't had the new car on the track, but if feels pretty similiar in straight-line acceleration. It handles alot better though. The only thing I miss is the ability to stick two poor saps in the back on occasion.

The vette tax gets pretty crazy sometimes, which is a sting to the pocket book.
