Suggest you search for some STOCK et's for both cars. However, in my personal experience, the fords typically need 60 to 100+ rwhp to run with the vettes.
At speeds aboce 140mph, they have nothing.

I owned a '03 Cobra and an '04 C5 at the same time and raced them many many times. The Cobra will edge out the Vette in a 1/4 mile race by about .2 (give or take) but after 110 MPH the Vette will pull the Cobra in. From a roll at almost any speed the Vette wins.

A pullied and bolt on Cobra will beat a C6, stock vs stock vs a C5 its close. I raced my Cobra vs our Z06 many times and the until I upgraded the SC the Z made it a good race. Its a lot cheaper to mod a Cobra too

well coming from a cobra owner the base c5 is not a race. auto or stick. the zo6 is a different story unless the guy in the zo6 just completely sucks at driving, but as stated not that many stock cobra around anymore. also, the vette owners usually don't race......well if the have a wild hair up their *** they just might.
don't go bye the numbers said from factory about the cobra. a lot of people that have dynoed their car have been in the 365 range to the tires stock. if one would do the 15% powertrain loss on that it is making around the 425 range.

Well I dont know if all three of those mustangs owners did or didnt know how to drive but when I first had my 6spd c5 exhaust only I managed to beat the new s281 saleens,the 01 and up version s281 saleen and an 04 I/E cobra...either my vette is abnormaly fast like everyone I race says or an M6 c5 is quicker than a stock supercharged cobra...

my woman wants a termy... I"ll keep her in my rear with my current mods but i'm scared of the pulley..
Funny i told her if she gets a cobra i get a C6...

vettes are bad *** cars don't get me wrong. i just state facts from my experiences. they out handle a cobra, and the cool factor is better. the bonestock base model c5 is not the same in the straight line with a bone stock 03-04 cobra with a good driver in both cars. yea ford put a supercharger on the car to make it fast.....how bout the fact that chevy might or going to put a supercharger on their top of the line flagship car. yea why is that, because it works thats why. stop hating on something that might be coming your way in the next few years.
I honestly hate the possibiliy of the new vet being blown(N/a ???) but im saying a stock vette vs a stok termy is a drivers race from a roll with a slight advantage to the cobra and from a dig 95% of the time the Cobra will win
I have owned a Cobra before and they are quick. If the cobra has a pulley its like waking a sleeping monster. But now im the owner of a 04' Z06 and I own the cobras all day long. But like said before its a different with a base C5.
