disappointed Dyno???......
disappointed Dyno???...... hey fellas...i have had my 01 ZO6 for a little over 2 months..it is bone stock but i went to the LSX shoot out yest. and did 1 dyno pull and i laid out 320rwhp and 317ft lbs of torque
....that seems a little low to me...BUT im not sure just wanted some thoughts.....

Seems about spot on to me.. depending on what type of dyno. '01 Z06 was rated at 385HP at the crank. Say 16% drivetrain loss (16% of 385 = 61.6HP), so 323.4WHP just from a rough calculation. Dynojet I assume?
Those numbers actually sound about right for that year Z06 Corvette..
What gear did you dyno it in?
An intake and exhaust will wake her up and put you into the 340s hp wise.

my 01 did 344 with a bb prt catback. the catback doesnt really do much for the z06's in stock form since the titanium is pretty good. think you said you had the car for 2 months. have the normal basic things been done? how old is your air filter? how old are the spark plugs? how old is the fuel filter? any of these things could be causing issues. also the stock z06 air box is pretty restrictive so get an intake and see nice gains

Are you content with the performance of the car? If so then who cares what number you pulled off? You're making the power that most 01 Z06's will make. If you feel like the performance of the car is lacking, then mod up your car. If you're happy with the way it performs, but nuhappy about some graphical number...then don't do anything. Dyno's are just tools man, don't worry about what they say. Make sure that you're car is working well and your happy with it, but the numbers in the end shouldn't dictate you.
yea...thats how i feel....lol it when all my F-body buddies laid out higher #'s and i lay out the least of em all( highest being 370rwhp cam full boltons)...it just kinda ate at me all day...but i do look at it like this....my car performs OUTSTANDING!!!....i can out run all my friends(most of em being full boltons)....now i need to race my buddy w/ the numbers i just stated....we only to race once and he got the hit and i missed 4th
