Same goes for a converter...if I go with a 3200 stall for the A6, you don't think it's possible for at least a .2 improvemnt in the 60ft over a stock converter? If not, why do people buy drs and converters?
While it's true that one can't truly know the outcome of a change until they actually try it, I personally believe that it's very likely that a car running 11.4s at over 125mph while still on the stock/OEM torque converter and runflat tires could and would drop right into the high 10s (or lower?) with the addition of a high stall converter (and the prerequisite tuning changes) and some sticky tires.

His car is not a stocklongblock so yes his car should dip into the 10's. I also am aware that Denise is the sameone who had the ls2 record. I saw him race the other one when I went to E-Town for the 11.50 index race.

Rob what was your setup when you went in the 10's with 396hp?

Malcolm, we'll chat in another venue/thread.
I don't want to distract from Dennis' accomplishment.

Very impressive for such mild mods. Going to be interesting when somone bolts up a few mods and tires on an LS3.

Some already have...thus far the quickest LS3 bolt on car has gone 11.44 (automatic) and two manuals have gone 11.56 with yet a few other LS3s in the 11.8s with most trapping in the 118mph - 120mph range.
Those LS3s are really haulin' and will prove to be track terrors in the coming months/years but so far the quickest stock C6 (my car) and the quickest bolt on C6 (Dennis's car) are both LS2s.
