he's got a vararam, headers, catback, converter, tune, and drs. Dennis is a wiz at launching C6 A6s and with he'll probally shave another tenth or so off that before any more mods occur. I think a gear swap and a little weight shaving(pass seat, mats, hood liner, engine covers,1/4 tank of gas) may take him down another tenth as well .We may see a bolt-on LS2 flirting with 10's before the winter is over.

I humbly disagree. I hit 11.41 and 125mph without poweradders on stock tires. DRs would shave .3-.4 off my 60fts...which is .5-.6 off the ET....do the math.Throw a converter on there for me and I could run 10's even in 90 degree weather.

10's are tougher to get from 11's than 11's are to from 12's, thats for sure, but these cars are light and aerodynamic and respond very well to mods. The biggest disadvantages to the vettes are the IRS and weight transfer, they both hurt launch.

Great run for Dennis, though.

so...you don't belive a dr will give at least a .3 60ft improvement over stock runflats? Even a .2 improvement over my 1.8's would be enough to pull the 11.4's down to 11.0's or possibly 10.99. Same goes for a converter...if I go with a 3200 stall for the A6, you don't think it's possible for at least a .2 improvemnt in the 60ft over a stock converter? If not, why do people buy drs and converters?

Very possible with a 4000+ rpm stall and drag wheels/slicks on an auto ls2/ls3 'vette.

LS2's have been out for 3years now and the best the have gone is 11.50's, now you have this one that went a 11.30's which I do believe could be a stocklongblock. But you think they are going to pick up another 3tenths? No way. I don't want to come off wrong and act like I know it all, because I don't.

You won't know unless you try.
Several years ago my goal was to get my full weight c5Z to go 10's with under 400rwhp.
No one said it was possible. I had a plan/alot of determination and was able to dip into the 10's on 3 occasions with it at 396rwhp 364rwtq.
So, I encourage you guys to try and make it happen but get it do instead of wondering.

Great job Dennis, congrats again.
Most of those previous bolt on LS2 bests/records were also run by Dennis as well by the way LOL.
And yes, Dennis's car has a purely bone stock longblock, it is a true stock internals, bolt ons only, naturally aspirated Corvette C6 LS2 that he and Cartek Racing put together...Cartek's tuning capabilities are truly amazing.
