That is an unreal gain! What do those units cost?

I am selling my HOSS for a C5 z06, so this is great news fellas, thanks!

So if stockish c5zs run 12.4ish @ 116mph or so, a vararam could bring it down into the 12.2 @ 119 range? I sure hope so!

Yes.
The vararam is worth its weight in gold even if it is a bit tough to install.
I will say that V-seriesTech and I installed his the first time in my driveway with no ramps or jack, took maybe an hour.

i know the ones on the cars are totally different than the ones on the trucks but the one I had on my truck was a TOTAL piece of crap... It was a huge power loss. When i switched from it to a open fram boost intake i gained 45 rwhp and 3rwtq.

it was literally choking my motor

Sorry to high-jack this thread.

I thought that a sponsor was having a sale on them on the vette forum. I picked mine up new from ebay for like $300 with free shipping. The install is a bit of a bitch, after installing it there is a few ways you can cheat and save yourself a shitload of time. Get a carbon fiber intake tube and it will be a nice looking setup.

What was the hardest part of installing it yourself. Do you need to cut or modify anything?
