I"m guessing 510rwhp 484rwtq and you run 10.6's at 130mph and my car will still run like a POS!!!!!!!

A 11.02 POS ...your kidding, right ??... Your all over it Bruce....that car is bad-azz. If you would take a tuner to the track with you, your probably sitting on 2 tenths. Wish you lived around here...my son or good friend could take you over the edge. We wittled 2 tenths out of both of ours right from the dyno tune. Are you possibly pulling timing from the heat...or still running a little rich ? How about your tranny shift points ? Did you open up your exhaust ? AF & Timing data logged on your runs ? I know you probably have this all covered..just wondering what is causing the bog you were talking about.
Lets talk shop when you get time ! I think you have my email but just in case bpittman@claryassoc.com

Any way you can data log a couple runs (even from a back road) and send me your tune ?? I will have it looked at and see if it is a tuning issue. I will bet you a meal at Bowling Green we can find you a tenth. We have EFI live and HP Tuners.

Default Picked it up today

Well guys, I picked it up and trailered it home today. Just got back from a ride with my son...this thing is nasty with my 390 gear/M12 tranny...Holy crap. Here is a sound clip and remember it is idled a hair high..about 1000-1100. Third gear from a 25-30mph roll will fry the Nitto's. What a sweet motor and camshaft !!! Actual torque ended at 437 (I thought it was 434)...479rwhp.

Hope to have a track vid soon.

Hell Z, I think I need you to drive..your as damn consistant as Ernie King (he has an auto) and Rob with his stick. I can't believe your runs are all the same...you would think with a stick you would vary a little. Take a vacation and come on down !! Gainesville is waiting on ya !

Thanks Shoa...looks like they did a good job on the motor as well as Pete on the cam choice. Good thing I didn't settle on the more radical one...street maners might have been a question..lol

Sound great Pit! Now all you need is a 3" exhaust system.
Get her to the track and post up some vids of your 10 sec runs!

Hey Jimbo,
Boy this new twin clutch is something..it is either engaged or it isn't...lol..Makes street driving take on a whole new meaning.

By the way...I lost 5 rwhp when the mufflers were disconnected. It loves that little bit of back pressure. That is exactly what Pete Incaudo told me on the phone when we were discussing a cam to use. Sure make it easier at the track, not having to use cutouts or take off the exhaust.

Going to put more miles on the clutch and watch the weather for a nice cool 80 degree, 50% humidity night...haha, then run to the track and get yelled at for no rollbar.

Pit,
One of the main reasons I went with a single disc Tex 0Z700 is the horror stories I've hears about twins, especially the Exedy. What twin are you running? I know a few guys with the Centerforce dual disc and they seem to really like it.
I can slip my Tex pretty easy, and the way I have been breaking rear ends seems like I need to "refine" my launch technique and start slipping it more.
With your twin, you need to be aware of that!
Jimbo
