Default "LOW OIL LEVEL" wtf?

ok less than 1,000 miles ago i changed the oil in my car and also reset the oil life thing in the dash and it keeps popping up from time to time "Low OIL level". NOw it did this before i changed the oil and its doing it again! I know for a fact the engine oil is not low because ive checked it numerous times but the damn thing still pops up SOMETIMEs.

What can this be??? car has 35k miles btw.

Tried a search and nothing popped up so dont flame lol

it happened to me once after i jacked the back of the car wayyyy up to change my xpipe i think it could be in my case anyway that my sensor wasnt readin right because the car was so off balance...my problem went away by itself...i found right after i bought my vette (02 z06) that i had tons of sensor problems i even had one where for no reason whatsoever my gas gauge would drop to empty and my check gauges light would come on...that also corrected itself

Last thing i wanna hear is "oh we couldnt duplicate the problem" bullshit.

Good luck bro. I know what a PITA bad sensors can be with all the false codes coming up. Makes you nervous to drive the car. Hopefully they sort it out for ya and correct the issues.

I have had the same problem, although mine says "check engine" and i check it, and what do you know, the engine is still there! LOL!

For some reason, the vette's came out with alot of sensor problems. Mine had a faulty oil sensor. it kept reading 80psi regardless of time or temperature. I took it to the dealership, and they replaced the sensor. Problem fixed!!

Take it to the dealership!

One of a few things...

bad ground,..bad sensor...or bad PCM.

Check wires...make sure nothing has rubbed through....etc etc.
