Default In the 10s!

It is fun ford weekend here in orlando.

I got 3 runs at the track before i decided to call it a night.

These were on the spray.

The first one was 11.1 at 134 (I lost the slip).

The next two were the following:


Run2 Run3

60'- 1.636 1.609
330- 4.657 4.523
1/8- 7.026 6.866
mph- 106.10 107.19
1000- 9.075 8.880
1/4- 10.773 10.541
mph- 131.27 135.08


The second run my nitrous turned off on the 3-4 shift as i blew a fuse otherwise the mph would be close to the same, although the time might have been better. Im pretty excited as now I feel as if I can take the motor out and put the 402 and twins on now

Very glad to hear all the LG Motorsports stuff and your driving added up to 10's at over 135 mph !!!

My best n/a is 11.52 at 122. That was a 1.8 60 ft i think.

I have a bit more in it both n/a and on the bottle. We will see. We started putting the the 402 together today.

Nice. Do you plan on transferring the heads/cam over or going with something like AFR 225's and a bigger cam?

NOS kit with an NX fogger. The jets are a rich 175 shot. Probaly closer to a 150 shot as I like to keep things safe. It turns out, i ran on 2 melted plugs that night. I thought the car had a miss at idle, and i found 2 plugs, today, had the top part of the electrode missing. I suspect they may have been that way for a few weeks now as I tried to run the kit on a 150 shot and the car felt like it might have ran lean and fluttered some. I dont know how much of a difference it made last night, but who cares. Im really happy with the way the car ran.

what kind of tires, what psi did you run, did you juice in first gear, also, do you have a stock rear end

I have a dte brace and stock rear end. The tires are mickey thompson drag radials (375/40/17).

I did use the juice in first gear. I pretty much launched on it, although i spun like crazy, it got it done. It seemed as if the higher i came out, the better the 60 ft/time. I was leaving at around 4-4500 rpm.

Nice times man and hell I get nervous sparying a 75 shot on my H/C stock short block car I couldn't imagine a 150 shot!

My raceweight is like 3100 + my 240 pound heavy ***.

My fuel system is just an LPE pump. On the twin setup i am using a dual pump setup from lonnies with 60 pounders and supporting lines/feeds.

Hey Dave, since when is 240 heavy bro ?? I go 6'4" 250 LOL. Just had to bust your ***** a bit.
