Default Z06 with MS4 dyno

well guys the vette is finally back from the body shop. Was able to get her dynoed. The car put out 438rwhp and 386rwtq. I thought the numbers should be higher, but the track will tell. The car dynoed with just a cai and no tune 342rwhp stock. So pretty much an extra 100rwhp. The car is just insane right now and sounds awesome. Its like a rocket. My brother drove a newer BMW m3 with a supercharger on it earlier today. Then I gave him a ride in the Z. He said the Z was just scary fast compared to the supercharged M3. Here is one of the dyno pulls and the car at idle. Enjoy guys.

My buddy with his 03 Z06 put down 405rwhp and 377rwtq. His mods are roller rockers, Vararam, LG long tube headers, no cats, Corsa pace car cat back, and a tune!!!! After hearing what he got. I'm a little upset.

Thanks. The driveablilty of the cam, in the little time I have drove it, has been excellent. I can lug it around in 6th without a problem. Easy with the gas and it drives like stock!!!!

The 11 second pass was just with a Vararam and et streets only, stock tune. It was my only time I ever took the car to the track. Got that run on my 5th and last pass of the day.

isnt that a little low considering new rockers and the ls6 heads? i gotta 02 SS m6 and all bolt ons with the ms4 and put down 426hp and 403trq with the ls6 intake.

as for the car i love it very nice and sounds bad ***. i really want a black 03-04 Z06 but i dont wanna sell my fbody to do it lol.

Not too shabby cam only numbers. You should be proud of yourself. I'd like to see what she does with a set of Mamofied AFR 205's or even a set of TFS 215's. I'd take the AFR's as my first choice bro.

Congrats on your new numbers, now get her to the track. You got low 11's or even a 10.9 in your future.

Sounds good and it does seem a little low especially since you have a ported 90 setup on there. Like you mentioned though...the track numbers will tell the story plus isn't 342 a little low for these stock? Maybe this dyno is a little lower than most?

stout numbers for a Mustang Dyno, usual dynojet correction is approx +12-13% some more some less. Don't get too hung up on dyno numbers though, let the track times do the talking.

Dyno number racing means about as much as racing flow numbers for heads.

438 is stout for a cam only car. you should be able to put down some solid track numbers.

Your buddy's car seems a bit high for the mods he has. Same dyno as you? Time for you guys to line them up.

For a mustang dyno.... Thats about right. I would say on a dynojet youre closer to 460rwhp.... If not over.

Yea i thought the numbers should be higher but I'll see what mph it pulls at the track.
Straightline performance in new lenox, IL tuned it.

btw my buddies car was tuned on the same day. As soon as my car was done his got tuned right after.

Yes, I am running the stock ti catback. I'm sure that it is holding maybe 10rwhp, but I love the way the car sounds and for the extra weight it evens out.
