I'm thinking about picking these up, but have shyed away due to everyone on another site with typically older members telling me they will be "too loud". Well I feel like too loud is a relative term.
So does anyone have these? I don't mind if they are loud, as long as in 6th gear on the highway you can still have a conversation with your passenger.

You know, I'm not really sure how loudmouths would work on a C5, due to the positioning of the muffler. Unless there are certain ones made for the Corvette, of course. In that case, all it is is a muffler delete with some nice tips. Not worth the money, in my opinion.

I have them and hate them. Way to loud. If you want loud just cut off your mufflers and have some striaght pipes with big tips put on and that should give you the same sound with a lot more money left in your pocket.

I drove a Loudmouth equipped C5 last Saturday....
Loud.. and it has some "popping" on deceleration due to less backpressure compared to stock..
Sounds dirty/mean as sin (in a good way
) through the gears but that's about it...
I also drove a Borla Stinger equipped car, slightly softer note but still the same raw personality....
The B & B bullet system I drove was similar to both listed above... raw.
