Question LG Street Headers?

I was looking at the LG Street Series headers with catted x-pipe which costs around $1,200. Has anybody on here had experience with them? Good quality, fitment, power?

If not can you recommend any headers with catted xpipe for my 99 c5 around that price?

I have decided to go with American Racing when I comes time for my headers, FWIW.

I have a set that I am waiting to install. The finish is great on them and the construction is awesome. I am totally happy with my purchase and cannot wait to get them on, but I am waiting to put my clutch in at the same time.

Fit is quite nice. Good power and good price. Too bad you wouldn't have found them last month when they were on sale for 995.00 !!! It never hurts to ask, so give them and call and you might be able to sell them at last months sale price. Worst that can happen, is they say no. Good luck, and ask for Bobby when you call.

I am going to be doing a cam with the install of these headers. The cam is going to be a 232/234 cam.

Would these headers restrict with that cam?

In my opinion no. The larger primaries are really only needed for bigger cube motors. The street headers will flow fine for a H/C 346. Yes you may see 5-10 hp more with the pros over the streets but the cost difference really is not worth it. You will not lose any hp by using the streets, you just wont gain the few hp more that the pros make over them.

I agree with this. I'm using the street series with stock cubes and spraying and they make great power and the quality just can't be beat. Mine made 331/330 with a zip-tie mod for air intake and these headers and a Borla cat-back. They sound great too! Get 'em!

I just looked on the website. 995 for the complete system, but to add cats its another 200. Still a good price in my book.

I have LG pro's on my 99' with highflow cats and X pipe.
I thought about getting the street series, but after talking with LG and telling them about possible future mods (H/C & procharger) they recomemded the pros so that I would not have to upgrade in the future.
It all depends on what you ultimately want to do with/to your car.

.02$ deposited.

I have the LG Streets and love them.
2003 Z06
CAI and LG Streets/X pipe and no cats.
383 RWHP and 370 RWTQ untuned.
Not real loud compared to stock (except at wide open throttle). Hopefully soon I will have some Borla Stingers to let people know I am comming.

I went with the LG Pro because they were a bit higher qualify and will work better with a big cam which I plan on doing... I also went with out cats for a little extra HP, lost some low end TQ btu the cam will fix that!!!

Sounds like a great set up there. (I really want Borla Stingers)
What kind of numbers are you putting down with that cam?
