No 10's for me sorry everyone :(
Well everyone it didnt happen despite my efforts. Quick version is the car ran 11.09@124.46mph best. Thats it thats all it had nothing more i can about that i guess. Now for the long drawn out version of the evening. Get your reading glasses and a cup of coffee a while before you start.
1st i'm gonna say I worked my freaking butt off to make sure everything was on point. Car had all fresh fluids, new shifter, cleaned air filter, aired up tires, new tires, raised the car up for better weight transfer. I took out the coolant reservoir and the little cover for the rear cargo area for every little bit of weight i could save due to the bar install. I"ll get the official weight of the car soon. I had the car pulling into the track at a perfectly estimated 1/4tank of gas. I did not add the Torco to it. I pulled in and Fireball came over and helped out with the little details and a pep talk. I even got a 10.9/109 as my car # LOL! The guy looked in the car and remembered me and said good to see ya and smiled while looking at the roll bar. Later in the nite I was stopped at the timing slip tower and rechecked for harness, bar, helmet, firejacket, door bar etc. Then went back to the pits to get rechecked again by one of the officials and then another came over to gander at it. Didnt notice the out of date helmet that will be replaced before i go again anyways. So that was funny in itself. The officials were really good with helping to assure the car was able to get a good burnout, keep my waiting time down to run and wished me good luck several times was nice.
Soo none the less theres something not right with the car that i'll need to find. As you'll see with a quick history lesson the car has always trapped between 125-126.7xmph. The car has even trapped 125.93mph in 75deg weather. My car was consistantly 2-3mph off in the 1/4mi.
Heres the runs:
#1
60ft-1.618 bogged slightly to 4800rpm
330ft-4.779
1/8th-7.360
MPH-97.26
1000ft-9.581
1/4mi-11.428
MPH-122.28----WTF!!!!! I account this to being the car was still hot from the drive down.
#2

330ft-4.603
1/8th-7.145

I forgot to mention I took out the ported throttle body and put a stock LS2 90mm back instead of the ported LS2. This shouldn't have played that much of a effect on things due to the car trapped upper 125mph before the ported TB and ported Fast 90
There was a light head wind but nothing thats going to change the MPH that much. The weather was literally the 2nd best weather I've ever raced in.

Bruce,
no tens but some awesome runs Bro. That Red Sled is fast...and a 1.50 sixty foot is nothing to laugh at...that is a serious launch. What was the weather like and was there a head wind ?

Good runs. 11.093 is pretty darn close The key is definitely the 60' times, 1.508 is great. With a little more weight reduction, I am sure you hit 10s. The passenger seat and carpet would be a good start. I am sure that is a good 30 to 40 pounds there. You could also drain the radiator of coolant

Bruce,
stay out of the fast food drive thru...heard that is worth a good tenth.
Don't give up Bro, your on the edge...especially since your mph was down. That is actually a good sign...11.09 and the mph down equals a ten second run when you find what happened.

Good runs bro. Those 60 ft times are to die for. I'd love to see what my 12.02 @123.6 would become if I could drop my 2.11 60 to a 1.6xxx LOL. I suck at launching. Maybe you could give me a few lessons. Good luck on your next time out.
