Default Got one again

Well i finally ended up with another one.. I just purchased a 97 C5, 6spd silver coupe with a targa top.. Its got 73k on the clock and only mods are a hurst short throw and a borla exhaust. Its also got 2000 chrome vette wheels, z06 brake cooling ducts for appearance. I must say i like this car alot.. So much fun to drive... I was thinking about going with long tubes and an o/r mid pipe... Any onther suggestions on what to do with this mod wise besides what i mentioned? I will get pics asap.. I pick up friday..

Yea LG Pro Long tubes and x pipe, Vararam Intake, Slotted and Drilled rotors with some decent pads, ported throttle body... Then later you can get a cam and a tune.

Thats the exact set up i was thinking.. It already has the slotted and drilled rotors with brand new pads.. with those mods what should i be looking at rwhp??

Also what kind of suspension mods do these things like specifically the rear? I am going to be taking this to a few road coarses more than a straight line.

With those mods, you should be able to see around 350-360rwhp.... With a good tune. And in a 3200lb car, it will fly.

The Z's are near 3200... coupes are about 3450.

Nice ride though. Mods are dang addictive... and costly.

I'd strongly consider getting the ls6 intake if you plan on staying bolt on only. My next suggestion doesn't seem to be popular with most but here goes anyways. With the high cost of gas ($4 / gal for premium) why not pick up some more power, and improve gas mileage at the same time ?? Add the Meziere ewp and ASP ud pully. With cruise set at 75 to 80 mph in 6th I routinely see 32+ mpg and sometimes on longer trips when I can actually run the tank dry before refilling, I have seen 34+mpg. Not bad for a 490 rwhp 445 rwtq Corvette. Just my 2 cents. Oh yeah LG Pro longtubes and x pipe all the way ! You'll love them.

i don't think 350-360 is likely. with my mods in my sig i put down 391 and that's with a cam, heads AND LS6. Things he doesn't have. Good looking car though If you get a descent cam and some heads you can have over 350-60 but with headers, intake and tune i'd say 350-60 is PUSHING it

A little off but close...my stock Z weighed 3040 with 1/8th tank and no driver. With me inside it's about 3200 I think 350-360 is definitely pushing it too...more like 340-350. Good choice coming back to the C5 though.

I put down 342 in my 01 coupe with almost the same mods and its an A4 on a mustang dyno so you might be able to get those numbers. I would def get the LS6 intake though right after the headers. but congrats on the new car!
