hello, whats the scoop on this new car? the website says 500 cubic inch motor, yet its a small block? WOW if thats true. any other sources of info ? the website i found was "conceptcarz.com" sweet louvers on the front fenders, made by katech & pratt / miller . anyone know the price?

The C6RS is made by Pratt & Miller Engineering and anyone can get one made( not just Jay Leno ). Here is a link all about it.

I heard it was in the vacinity of 185k for one, but dont hold me to it.

 

For me if I have to ask the price or the price tags "Ask about our easy financing", I can not afford it

It was the cover car on the latest VETTE magazine. It has 600 hp and 600 tq.... the guys that drive the C6R have tested that car and the new ZR-1. They stated that the C6RS had more power down low.

The magazine stated it would cost you $225k to $260k in modifications (ie. not including the donor corvette that you need to supply them)

Bad *** ride..... but too rich for my blood.

That thing surely would be one cool ride with which to go out and hunt down Poopras!!

They can build mine with even more power, lighter materials (to the point that it weighs ~ 1000 lbs. less than said Poopras!), slicks at all four corners, and the sequential gearbox they are working on currently.

Anyone have $350K laying around??

 

What's great about the C6RS is you can build it as a convertible or removeable top.....

The C6RS is produced by Pratt-Miller those are the folks that race the Corvettes for GM at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the American LeMans Series (IMSA)...the engine is built by Katech and is based on a 500 cu. in. block from Katech and it produces 600 HP..you must first have a C6 Z06 donor car and about $200 large for Pratt-Miller to build you the car...the first one produced was for Jay Leno and it was out on the Hot Rod Power Tour for all to see...in pictures the car looks bad azzzz but it looks even better in person..
