You're going to go from a 666rwhp monster to a C6 and be disappointed. Same thing is true with the C5Z but at least the Z feels more "racy" IMO. Oh and the sexy bodyline of the Z06/FRC doesn't hurt!

After owning a high hp F-Body, a C5Z, and now a C6Z, I would definately go with the C5Z on this one. I have driven a few base C6's, and I would take a C5Z over a base C6 any day!
I'm not saying anything bad about the C6, it's a great car. But I love the way the C5Z looks and feels.

I think it would be a much more difficult decision if you're comparing an '08 LS3 to the C5Z. The new motor has such great potential to make power but the price difference is pretty big b/w an '08 and the typical low-medium mileage C5Z. I'm not talking about the C5Z's with like 5K miles that go for like $35K but the typical ones that go for less than $30K.
Had both a C5Z and now a C6Z51. I actually had 7 C5's before. The C5 is an awesome car but I do think the C6 is better.
I love the door actuators
HID headlights are a huge improvement
3Lt seats are a lot better.
Ls2 is a better motor to build on since it has alot of the newer technolgy stuff
Interior is a big improvement + double din availability for aftermarket
For now the resale is better
One big pro for the C5 Z is there are alot less of them on the road

Thanks guys. It would be an LS2 C6, an LS3 is out of my range. Most likely either car will see full exhaust/cam and appearance mods ~450 rwhp
