I was paying 350 a month for the trans am when I was 22 with 3 tickets! Now i'm 28 with no tickets in 6 years, high credit score, my own house, and I still pay 220 a month for my truck, blazer, and trans am. Time to change companies!

I am 25 and also looking to buy a C5 Z06. I got a quote from Geico (who I currently have) and with full coverage it was $150/month. I have 8 points right now (down from 11 and soon to down to 5!) and no accidents and of all places, in NJ.

The Corvette is actually should be cheaper than the Fbody due to less accidents and probably thefts. Old guys drive them most the time and stay out of trouble.

Just to give you an idea I was 24 with an 03 Z06 and I was paying $545 per 6 month period. This was with a discount for having multiple accounts with USAA and having a long relationship with them (5+yrs ).... Well that was then this is now... I have since received a speeding ticket and a racing ticket for a total of 11 points and nearly lost my liscense... My insurance is now $1123 per six months...

Just wait your perfect little record will be toast in months.

Lol...Like I said before the Vette is for cruisng with the ladies.
And I havent street raced since I was 19 with my Z28 and I was never foolish enough to do it at a bad time.
Those days are over!
The vettes power wouldnt be any more tempting than my Trans Ams 400+ FTLB Torque street monster 455 engine and I never street raced that.

Like Jay Z says "These days Im on some grown man ****!"

On page 1 of this thread I priced an '02 C5, C5Z, T/A, and Z28 all through USAA and at my current age (29) the C5Z is the most expensive but the other 3 are all within a couple dollars of each other per month...my Z being about $10/month more than the rest.

I bought my '04 C5 when I was 24. I have that and an '07 Murano lease. I'm also a married homeowner, with Geico, for the both of them with full coverage I pay $103/m.
