That would be the idear - we have some extra mph we can trade for ET for sure

We havent been able to get it to leave on everything on this tight converter yet either. It should go 1.33-1.34 60 ft and .40s in it with this converter, but we know its too tight (its about 1400 rpm tighter than the old one)- no sense figuring out the chassis when this isnt the converter itll end up with.

With the right converter Erik I think your right, and we have about 100 lbs we can get out of the car still. Before Memphis I put the amp and everything back in the car so she has some tunes If we get the car lined out well and in the low 5.90s in the 1/8 she might have to trade the CD player for an ipod and well get that 100 lbs out

Bruce Maichle keeps telling me to take out the heater core, not sure ho wmuch it and the stuff under the dash weighs, but thats on the list of stuff I reserve for the stuff thats absolutely racecar - 14#s of wipers/motors, heater core, horns, 25-30#s speakers/amp/headunit etc.

We are eventually going to get a manual rack on the car, upper and lower A arms, get the ABS block off the car, maybe a hood and a few other ideas I have, I think next season we may actually be able to get down to the raceweight you think well need for the next bullets goals

We are on converter #4 so far this season.
And it doesnt look like this one is loose enough either.

I will be under 3200 next year NO MATTER WHAT, I'm tired of racing 300lbs heavier than everyone else.

Wow badass. Do you guys think that you are running kinda low timing for Q16? With < 11:1 compression and 24 degrees of timing don't you think you could run that same timing with C14? I was curious whether you had picked up power on the dyno with the Q16.
