I've tried shifting it lower but mph and ET suffer. For a hydraulic roller it's weird that she likes the higher rpm's and I've been thinking about putting in slightly steeper gears to take advantage of that. (3:73's in there now). Gonna get all the data together and talk to Neal Chance to see if there's anything with the converter that can be done.
Running 26 degrees of timing. Cam is Cartek custom grind.
Awesome Mark for an n/a car and street driven to and from the track!
Those 60' times have to hurt the next day.

Ha! Honestly it doen't hurt at all, it's like a cool ride-she comes up pulls hard and lets down real easy, off the footbrake.
Now off the transbrake-that's another story, last time I tried that I think you were at the track, felt like a Donkey kicked me in the back and it hurt the rest of the night, she didn't even hook, haha.

No offense taken. It is what it is-I'm not driving the car to work everyday or anything like that-car is registered as a limited use collector vehicle and I basically drive the car to the track, the shop, car shows and occasionally a Sunday cruise. I also drive this car on the highway-cost me some $$ in gas when I do drive it yes but it's not often enough to make it a problem financially.
Thanks again, Mark
