Thanks for the compliments guys.

John, Larry agrees I need more converter to get the car in to the tens. I don't know for sure but 5500 sounds a little much though.

I would not go 5500 unless it was a pure na car, and more of a drag car at that. My 5500 was a lot less streetable than my 4800, and they were both 8" converters. I'd shoot for a 4500-4800, what does yours flash to now? I think your car just has the wrong converter, 1.6's on a 28" tire show that. My Camaro was going 11.3 on 1.6's, and once we added in more timing and played with it, it was going 11.02-11.06 in Memphis heat last year and 10.92 in cool GLD air. New owner has gone 10.8's but on very conservative launchs, should go 10.5's right now would be my guess.

My old Formula 422ci setup was at 3600 raceweight, and was going 11.doh's@122mph with a 4500 converter, easily would have hit 10's with more converter.

John, I think your right on the money with 4800/5000 The converter in the th400 flashes at about 4400 but going back to the 4L60E might free up a little hp not to mention a taller first gear.

YES..PT4400/4L60E is the plan for the new setup and the 4L60E will help greatly to with the 60ft.

The PT will hit hard as you know John...believe you ran this in the 422 combo.

We are setting it up a bit looser as my SS4000 which hit hard...approx 5K

PSJ..sent you a PM

Yeah thanks! The run in my sig was at 3600 raceweight and a Vig 3600 with the weenie 226/234 .568 cam I have...I since restalled the converter to 4000, added a CM 6 point, and a Spohn Pro series drag sway bar in the rear...Race weight went to 3650ish (I lost 35 lbs which helped also!) but divorce and other life stuff happened and I havent had as much time with the car this year...but look out next year...If I can 60' in the 1.4anythings I should have the 10.99 run...Good luck with yours too!!
