Lt1 junk goes 11.20's na
I'm a little late posting this but anyway went to the track with Speed Inc on 11/1 and the car was running 11.2's na on a soft sixty 1.605 @ 119.97 mph I'm pretty happy with the car I'm just hoping I can get the car to 1.4 sixty come spring with a few changes so I can run with that guy Larry and his 396 junk
Here's a crappy vid from a camera.

cool buddy... it's been a long time coming, but it will get in the 10's NA with the planned changed and be more of a driver as well.

They are all local friends.
Congrats Jeff. 60ft is just a matter of figuring out if the converter and gear are right, and what the suspension is doing (among other things). I'll get another car out to come out and try to wack the old guy in '09.

Larry with all the crap he was giving me that day at the track.
Pro Stock John Congrats Jeff. 60ft is just a matter of figuring out if the converter and gear are right
Thanks John, I think we might have it figured out. I think suspension is fine more of the converter than anything.

John, I'm shifting at 6700 but I think between first gear of the th400 and not enough converter is holding it back some. The car needs to sixty in the 1.4's like Larry's car to have the best chance of hitting 10's on nuts. The best sixty to date is 1.605

The car has Brodix track 1 heads ported by RGR and the cam is a hydrolic roller somewhere is the 620 lift range don't remember the exact specs nothing crazy. I plan on hitting it with maybe 150 shot my fuel system won't support anymore than that for now and depending on this new converter I chose I may be limited anyway.

If you are not spinning, you need more converter. my 10.92 was with the 4800 Fuddle, the new converter is a 5500 and the car will probably cut a high 1.3 if the new owner pushes it.

PSJ..it will go in the 10's come spring
z28rob18..The car would go low 10 teens I think with a 150 shot and decent 60ft.
This car is not a gutted car and weighs 3500-3600 with driver if I recall correctly.

3500 + a nitrous converter will struggle to hit the 10's. I'd run at least a 4500 stall up to a 4800/5000 and you can still spray it. My last converter was a 5500 and that would been sick on a big shot, but it still went 9.9 on a 100 dry shot and was very manageable. Personally set up the car up for strong NA, and then spray a little.
