this will be interesting im about to do a forged shortblock with a stock 98-00 cam and lightly ported 5.3 heads...ive already been the cam only and h/c route on the old motor....keep em coming some nice times for cars that more than likely drive close to stock......nice idea op...

Not my car but he does not post much (butler). I have dont a lot of work with him on this.

2000 z28
lid, ls6 intake and the muffler taken off
stock exhaust manifolds
stock suspension
3400 race weight
stock a4 with stock converter
9'' with 4:10's
Full speed density tune by me
150 shot

10.86 @ 126

60' was in the 1.7 or 1.8 range. Can't remember.

damn now that is nice...reminds me of when i was SI with stock manifolds running 11.72 but i didnt have a stock converter...impressive for sure...why not add the verter

a glide for a SI car, dont you think he would be better off with a th400...

So were you shifting into OD before the traps? Or did you have a really tall tire?

Don't see any LT1 cars, so heres mine, mods in sig., don't know weight, but its fully dressed right down to the jack/spare, it still has the stock VC gaskets & 160K, i'll be shooting for 11.8s soon.

This is on 100 shot.

NSSANE02 - 11.17 @ 125.6 (1.84), 02 SS, Textralia OZ-700, 4.11, NX 125, ~3400, 1/09

That pass was at about 700 psi (wet) after being heated for like 20 minutes, dropped under 600 after that but still managed another 11.1 @ 118. Hopefully I'll remember to fill the bottle next time

I just made the first shake down passes with my stock 6.0 LQ4 with a 80mm on 12lbs of boost th350 Neil chance converter, 3.55 gear 28x10.5 mt drag. Maybe the quickest stock Long block EVER? only made 1/8th mile passes so far so we cant claim that record yet
