Default Results that are just frustrating

Made a couple passes the other day and put in wideband to see where I am at.

Under all driving conditions af looks good. (I get 31.6 mpg from phoenix to tucson) Only under wot my af goes to 11.5 I understand speartech did a bench top tune and was told it was not going to be perfect. I don't have a problem with that AT ALL! I think they did an absolutely amazing job! Car has amazing throttle response! Shift point are awesome! I am just wondering if there is something I can do without being forced to have it retuned that I can do in the garage to lean out the wot? Can someone help me out on this??

Here are the results I really think I got a better car than this..ALL mods are in sig.

2.08 60'
8.48 1/8
13.03 1/4
108.33 mph

2.11 60'
8.54 1/8
13.09 1/4
108.46 mph

What gears? Posi? Regular street tires? I see you are located in AZ, what is the track elevation? Stock torque converter?

In all honesy, if that is at eleveation, not corrected. And you have street tires and a stock converter, it doesn't seem all that bad considering you are getting 30+ MPG.

1250 elev... 3.23 posi... 235/55/16 goodyear eagle t/r.. normal street tires ...stock converter

but doesn't the af look too rich?

there was a guy right next to me with an 02ss conv. that ran the same exact times and he had same gears, and same mods lt, ory blah blah but had no suspension mods and he was 400lbs heavier and our 60' were really close but his af ratio was 13.1

so I was thinking that if I could lean mine out a little ....

It is a hair rich, there is some power left on the table, but nothing that is going to set the world on fire. You get amazing MPG, I would just leave the WOT a/f alone and throw a nitrous kit on the car. Otheriwse, you need to invest in having a good tuner touch up the WOT part of the tune.

which track did you run at? I have a 92 firebird so i can kinda see where your getting upset with the numbers, but if the DA was bad that day or even if not your times are very respectable for an auto ls1. I hit 108mph at speedworld now granted i have less mods but I am also M6. also did you weigh your car at the track and then the ss did? because a v8 3rd gen with all the options will still weigh in at 3400lbs easily.

3432 with me and a FULL tank of gas, ALL of interior even jack and spare and yes was at speedworld and those passes were on 2 separate days

I not looking to set the world on fire just get that power I am not getting and I know I could tap 12's

I am just frustrated with the 13.0X and know that I am down a little power to make that a 12.9

You need to get that 60ft down, get some drag radials and give it hell.
